OVERVIEW

The Mechanical Backbone HCAI project at Chinese Hospital replaces aging rooftop mechanical equipment and provides new duct risers serving six stories of the 1979 hospital building.  The project also included reroofing of the entire 1979 building’s roof, including the penthouse. Our design team performed a full scan, developed a 3D Model and designed a complete solution for the AHU pictured below. Below, you can see the final product, along with the BIM Model and the model overlayed with our scan. Leveraging this robust model, we worked with the talented team of Mar Con Builders, Anco Iron & Construction INC and Sheedy Drayage Co. to get the AHU installed.
