OVERVIEW

Axis Mechanical worked with Kaiser Permanente to support their Union City Medical Offices.

This project replaces two existing cooling towers with new upgraded equipment, including two new pumps, a new filtration system and upgraded Building Management Systems (BMS) controls. The work was planned taking into account local seasonal weather patterns and the months when it’s cooler, allowing for replacement of one tower at a time. This in turn allowed the facility to remain fully operational during construction and minimized disruption to hospital operations from the construction activities.

We worked with HTC Engineers, BPA Architects, Baltimore Aircoil Company, Direct Digital Controls, Inc. and Air Treatment Corporation.
